ANTIOCH KIDS

At Antioch, we believe that kids are not just the future of the church—they are the church.

Our Kids Ministry is built to create fun, faith-filled environments where children from infants to 5th grade learn to love Jesus, build friendships, and discover their God-given identity.

What to expect on Sundays

SERVICE STARTS @ 10 AM

Check-in Process

Check-in opens at 9:45 AM at our Kids Welcome Desk or at one of our self check-in stations in the lobby. There, you’ll receive printed name tags and a secure parent pick-up tag for each child.

After check-in, kids stay with their families in the main sanctuary for the first part of worship. About halfway through worship, we’ll pause briefly to dismiss kids to their classrooms. A team of volunteers will be ready in the back to guide each child safely to their age-specific room.

This rhythm allows our kids to experience corporate worship alongside the church family before diving into their own time of learning, fun, and connection.

Secure Pick-Up: At the end of service, parents use the printed security tag to check out kids from their classrooms.

MORE ABOUT ANTIOCH KIDS

  • Your child's safety is our top priority. We ensure:

    • Every volunteer is background-checked and trained

    • Secure check-in/check-out process with matching tags

    • Allergy awareness, diaper and bathroom protocols

    • Safe ratios in every room

    • No one-on-one situations between adults and kids

    • Parents can opt to receive a text via the Church Center App if diaper/bathroom help is needed

  • Loving Discipline with Clear Boundaries

We want every child to feel safe and loved. If a child struggles with repeated disruption or defiance, we follow a gentle, 3-strike process:

    1. Redirection & Natural Consequence

    2. Meeting with Kids Director & Parent Notification

    3. Remaining with Parent for the Rest of Service

Our goal is always partnership with parents and shepherding each child’s heart with love and consistency.

  • You are the most important voice in your child’s spiritual life—and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

At Antioch Kids, we believe discipleship starts at home. Our job is to come alongside you with tools, encouragement, and a team you can count on. We’re in this together.

    Monthly Parent Email

Each month, we send an email with:

    • A preview of what your child is learning in their class

    • Memory verses and big ideas to talk about at home

    • Helpful articles and practical tips for family discipleship

    • Important updates and upcoming events

You’ll always know what’s happening and how to stay engaged.

Real-Time Communication Through the Church Center App

If your child ever needs you during service—diaper change, potty issue, or anything else—we’ll send you a discreet text directly through the Church Center app. It’s fast, private, and ensures we never interrupt the flow of service unless truly necessary.

    Open Line of Communication

Have feedback? A prayer request? A concern about your child’s experience? We love hearing from you and welcome the conversation. You can:

    • Email us directly at kids@antiochcs.org

    • Text us at 979-977-2408

    • Catch a staff member or volunteer leader at the Kids Welcome Desk on Sundays

We genuinely care about your family’s experience and are always here to listen.

  • Sometimes, especially in younger rooms. We are allergy-aware and keep things simple (like Cheerios or goldfish). You can always let us know if your child has dietary restrictions—we’ll note it at check-in.

  • Nope! Just come a little early (check-in opens at 9:45 AM), and we’ll walk you through everything. Our welcome team is ready to help you register and get settled.

BUT if you want to get a head start, you can check-in HERE.

  • We love when kids express spiritual interest! Our team listens, asks follow-up questions, and then partners with you as the parent to help your child take next steps—whether it’s prayer, a gospel conversation, or baptism preparation.
